Kerrilee is SwanCare’s People & Performance Operations Manager. You may recognise her from a number of staff initiatives, including her recent role hosting our Behaviour Matrix Workshop series, where she has a strong drive to continue fostering a positive work culture for our 700+ staff.

We started our chat by going back to 2022 when upon joining the team, Kerrilee says she was drawn to the organisation almost instantly.

“I still remember what it was like the first time I came to the Administration office; everyone was so warm and welcoming. The friendly environment stood out to me straight away, and I knew this was where I wanted to come to work each day.” 

As part of SwanCare’s People & Culture team, a key aspect of Kerrilee’s role is in building connections with our staff members every day. So, when we asked what keeps her coming back, the answer came easily: 

“The people I work with. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by such passionate and talented individuals, regardless of their role.

The opportunity to support and collaborate with them in various capacities is something I truly value, and it’s what makes my job so rewarding.”

Kerrilee also has a strong vision for herself and her team; one that acknowledges and celebrates the many members of staff who enrich the lives of our residents every single day.

“My vision for myself and my team is to drive continuous, positive change that cultivates a workplace where every employee feels valued, supported, and motivated to do their best.”

To finish off of our chat, we had to ask her: “What might someone be surprised to learn about you?”

“I find true crime very interesting! In fact, I’m currently completing a Bachelor in Psychology, Criminology and Justice.”
