On Friday we held our Feathers End of Year Awards Night, an event dedicated to celebrating our nearly 700 team members for their invaluable contribution to our organisation and wider community.
Together our staff cheered, clapped, and even shed a tear or two, as they heard the heartfelt nominations behind our monthly Feathers winners from throughout the year. Then it was time to announce our finalists for 2023.
Please join us in extending a huge congratulations to first runner up Bex Kirianu, second runner up Kirsten MacDonald and our overall Feathers winner for 2023, Sarah Wentworth.
“One of the best aspects of my role within the Community Living team is to onboard and welcome new residents into our friendly village,” said Sarah, “Knowing the journey and how stressful it can be moving house, I enjoy being that supportive and encouraging person to our seniors.”
“I feel so honoured to be awarded Employee of the Year.”
After the awards ceremony, staff let their hair down with a well deserved 2023 wrap up party! Everyone spent the rest of the evening socialising over delicious food (courtesy of our talented Spritz Catering team) and of course, dancing the night away!
