SwanCare Ningana is still experiencing staff shortages with some staff isolating at home, due to becoming COVID-19 positive or as a result of being a close contact. The Department of Health have provided surge workforce with the Australian Defence Force currently onsite providing support.

Visitations to SwanCare Ningana level 2 can now resume. Visiting hours for SwanCare Ningana are 9am-12pm and 2pm-5pm Monday to Sunday.

We do ask that visitors remain vigilant and ensure they follow all infection control protocols, including maintaining good hand hygiene and proper mask wearing at all times.

Currently, all visitors are required to provide a negative RAT test and health screen upon arrival, in addition to following the WA Government’s current level 1 public health and social measures:
  • Two visitors permitted per resident per day
  • Masks must be worn indoors and outdoors

  • Do not visit a high-risk setting if symptomatic or feeling unwell

Quick and effective management of any outbreak is not possible without the understanding and compliance of our staff, families, and friends. We would like to thank you all for your ongoing support during this most recent outbreak.
