With the increase of new COVID-19 variants spreading in the community, the chance of reinfection also increases. For this reason, based on the latest expert advice from the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee (AHPPC), the window for potential reinfection of COVID-19 has been reduced from 12 weeks to four weeks (28 days). We ask all visitors who test positive with 48 hours of visiting any SwanCare residential aged care centre to please contact us immediately, so we can ensure your loved one is closely monitored for symptoms.
Should you prefer not to visit in person, arrangements for telephonic and video communications with your loved ones can still be made by contacting SwanCare Kingia during reception hours to schedule a time.
