COVID-19 Outbreak Update | SwanCare Ningana

We are pleased to advise that the COVID-19 outbreak on Level 2 has been resolved as both residents have made a full recovery. As such, visitations can resume on Level 2 from tomorrow, Tuesday the 14th of May. One resident on Level 1 is still recovering along with five staff members, therefore we are still limiting movement across Level 1 at this time. All residents will continue to be closely monitored for symptoms and 72-hour testing will continue on Level 1.

Visitors to Level 1 are required to wear an N95 mask, and anyone entering SwanCare Ningana must complete a RAT prior to entry. Masks and RATs are available to collect from reception.

Visitations can continue to other floors; however, all visitors are required to adhere to the current health and safety measures as detailed below:

  • Complete health screening and sign in using visitor kiosk upon arrival.
  • Complete RAT prior to entry.
  • Wear a mask indoors and outdoors within residential aged care centre grounds.
  • Current influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations prior to entry is encouraged.
  • Respect all infection prevention and control (IPC) measures in place.
  • Refrain from visiting if unwell or if you are a close contact of a COVID-19 case.
  • If COVID-19 positive, refrain from visiting for at least 7 days and until symptom free.
  • Visitors are limited to two people at a time, from 9am – 12pm and 2pm – 5pm daily.

Thank you for your ongoing support.
