SwanCare's Leisure Precinct wins its 9th award, this time on an international stage!

October saw SwanCare's Leisure Precinct win its ninth Architecture accolade; this time winning honourable mention at Loop Design Awards for Social Architecture.

LOOP Design Awards is working hard to become one of the most prestigious and recognized awards in the fields of Architecture, Interior Design, Landscape Design, Product Design, Architecture Photography and Architectural Video. They aim to celebrate and honour diversity with remarkable works globally through their Loop Design Awards which are open to entries from all over the world.

irdedale pedersen hook architects, who are responsible for the Leisure Precincts’ design, have created a very urban and inviting area, bringing the SwanCare community together and the area to life. When we previously spoke to Adrian Iredale about the design, his response was “There were so many components to designing the Leisure Precinct. The combination of the landscaping, the integration of the gardens and the external spaces were critical. We created pathways, which are dementia safe, and which also give residents opportunities to meet and chat along the way.”

Congratulations to Adrian and his team at Iredale pedersen hook architects for their continual recognition of our Leisure Precinct. Everyone who visits and frequents this area whole heartedly agrees, it really is world class!
