The Swan Village Bowling club hosted their annual Patrons Shield, seeing retirement living residents compete in a fun game on the green since 1988.
The Swan Village Bowling club hosted their annual Patrons Shield, seeing retirement living residents compete in a fun game on the green since 1988.
After the game, players are invited to socialise over food and drinks in the Pavillion where the results are announced and the Shield is presented.
This year the winning team was made up of Bentley Park residents Linda G., Amy M. and Geoff P.
“It was a great thrill to be presented the Patrons Shield by SwanCare CEO Graham Francis,” says Geoff, “As a newbie to bowls, I wouldn’t of ever imagined being the proud recipient skipper of wining the Patrons Shield, it has been a truly amazing experience to be able to play such a wonderful game alongside my team mates, Linda and Amy, who both bowled especial on the day.”
Congratulations to the 2023 winners, and well done to the Swan Village Bowling Club on yet another successful Patrons Shield.
