At SwanCare our purpose is to provide a caring community where every person feels safe and has the freedom and choice to live the life they desire. This doesn’t only extend to our residents, but for every one of our 700+ staff too.
Over the last two weeks our team were invited to connect and collaborate through a series of staff workshops run by our People & Culture team.
The sessions aimed to provide an engaging, harmonious space for our team members to have direct input in building our behaviour matrix, while reflecting on what it truly means to be part of the SwanCare family.
We were filled with pride to see so many team members take the time to attend one of the many scheduled workshops, each playing a fundamental role in helping us curate a work culture that best reflects our SwanCare community. This included reviewing our recently updated staff values, which launched last month, and identifying ways we can reinforce those key principles both on and off the campus.
It goes without saying, but none of what we do would be possible without the collective contributions of each individual team member. Furthermore, we recognise it’s imperative that for anyone to deliver an exceptional level of care for others, that they too must feel supported themselves.
We hope we can continue to provide similar experiences in future, centred around empowering the individuals who enrich the lives of everyone in our community.
