The support from our volunteers towards our Bentley Park village and residential aged care centres is invaluable. Every volunteer plays an integral part in fulfilling our vision to enrich the lives of our 1000+ residents every single day.

At SwanCare, we welcome volunteers from all walks of life, although there’s a particularly special group who are at the heart of our community - our residents.

Earlier this week on International Volunteers Day, we invited our retirement living volunteers to a celebratory High Tea; a small token to acknowledge their immense commitment and hard work throughout the year. 

We also presented our Villager of the Year awards to the wonderful Ricki McPherson and Thelma Chilton in honour of their phenomenal dedication and positive contributions to our SwanCare community.

SwanCare would not be the same without our incredible team of volunteers, and for that, we are forever thankful.

Special thanks to The Vintage Table for helping bring our High Tea to life, Bloicey’s Cookies for the delectable sugar cookies, and the talented Amami Trio who kept us entertained all afternoon long.
