Congratulations Amal Zainuden, our Clinical Nurse at SwanCare Kingia & Tandara who has been nominated for her exceptional Leadership! Here is the nomination we received about her:
“A huge thank you to Amal, our incredibly reliable Clinic Nurse! Beyond her thoroughness and dedication to high-quality care, she continuously proves to be someone our entire SwanCare Kingia & Tandara team can lean on.
While I was away, our lifestyle team faced an intense week balancing a new staff orientation, surveys, evaluations and special activities. When a new task arose that would have overwhelmed the team, I reached out to Amal for help with our Tandara residents. She immediately stepped up to handle it and went even further by coordinating with the Kingia Clinical Nurse to ensure our team was fully supported across both buildings.
On top of that, the following fortnight when our lifestyle team hit another morning with multiple unscheduled leaves, Amal jumped in to help figure out our staff allocations to work alongside the AINs across both Kingia and Tandara to keep everything running seamlessly. Thank you, Amal for your outstanding leadership, proactive teamwork and for always looking out for our team and residents.”

“A massive thank you to Cerelyn and Korina for going above and beyond to care for our residents! When two of our residents were in need of additional clothes, Cerelyn and Korina immediately stepped up. Knowing the resident’s preferences and needs so well, they unselfishly volunteered to take on the shopping trip, saving me time while I was managing activity supplies and not feeling well. They even took time out of their own personal routines to handle it and went back a second day to exchange items and pick up extra clothes, so everything was just right for the residents. Thank you both for your incredible kindness, initiative and deep care for our residents - you truly embody what teamwork is all about!”

CUSTOMER SERVICE - Tashi Lhamo, Assistant in Nursing – SwanCare Waminda
“I would like to recognise Tashi for her outstanding customer service and for consistently going above and beyond in her role. Tashi is a great example of an excellent Team Leader. She usually works on Level 3; I and the other nurses notice how helpful and supportive she is on the floor. Her presence has contributed to keeping the floor more organised and ensuring that things run smoothly.
There has been very positive feedback regarding Tashi’s care and commitment towards our residents. She takes the time to support and guide new staff, helping them settle into their roles and understand their responsibilities. Tashi is also excellent at identifying gaps, following up on tasks and promptly escalating any concerns to the nurse when required. Her proactive approach and strong teamwork make a real difference to the quality of care provided to our residents.

“A heartfelt thank you to Leidy and Safi for stepping up and supporting the entire Kingia and Tandara Lifestyle team during my unexpected absence. They followed my daily handover seamlessly ensuring all tasks were completed on time and taking a huge weight off my mind while I was away recovering. On top of that they handled every daily challenge on the floor that came their way with great initiative and teamwork.
