We've had an abundance of wonderful Feathers nominations. Please join us in congratulating this month's winners!

18th November 2024

October may be known for tricks or treats, but at SwanCare its been all treats this month. We've had an abundance of wonderful nominations that truly showcase the incredible work and dedication of our SwanCare team.

We are delighted to celebrate our Feathers winner for October, Jamie Drzezdzon, Community Assistant for SwanCare At Home. Jamie was nominated by the wife of a resident, who praised her exceptional customer service and the outstanding care she consistently provides while performing in her role:

Feedback from Chris, wife of resident, Vic: “Jamie helped solve a dilemma for my husband Vic, while talking to me on the phone while I was in Sydney. She had never met us before and was very efficient. Thank you.”

Feedback from SwanCare staff: “Vic is vision impaired and spent time at home on his own while his wife was in Sydney. This situation was very stressful for his wife, Chris, as she is the main care giver for him. Jamie's support by talking to Chris and solving the matter was a great relief and eased the stress that Chris was experiencing. It was reassuring to Chris to know that her husband was in good hands and those supporting him, competent. Thank you, Jamie, for your support. It made a world of difference.”

Helping and supporting the families of our residents is just as important as the care we provide to our residents. We are proud to have you on our team Jamie, keep up the good work!

Here are the stories behind our category winners for October, all of whom have shown incredible commitment to their work at SwanCare.

And the next day she started at 6am to do the Halloween decorations in both Spritz and Jarrah Cafe. We are so lucky to have her. Thank you.”
