It's safe to say our residents and staff have had a lot of fun celebrating the Easter season! 

With our Social Engagement calendars packed full of fun, our residential aged care residents have been very busy bunnies this Easter. 

Some of the fun in Care included a visit from our Social Engagement Bunny, an Easter raffle, a range of egg-cellent games, and of course, some delicious choccies to top it all off. Click here to view all the happy snaps.

Then it was time for our staff to take a crack at some friendly competitions. 

Starting off was our Easter Egg Hunt which saw hundreds of colourful eggs, packed with goodies, hidden around various staff areas.

One, however, was hiding a Golden Ticket; the key to our top prize.

Social Engagement Assistant Leidy Ortiz was thrilled to be our Golden Ticket winner. Equally so was SwanCare Kingia resident Evelyn (pictured with Leidy here), who was standing right next to her as the excitement unfolded.

"When I opened it up and saw the Golden Ticket I was so excited that I began jumping up and down yelling 'I got it! I got it!'", Leidy laughed, "It was so funny."

Following was our Mad Hatter Competition, which saw staff craft together some incredible head pieces.

After narrowing it down to the Top 4, we posted an Instagram poll asking our followers to cast their vote on which hat was their favourite.

The people have spoken and Assistant in Nursing Erika Allen, with her decorative orange hard-hat, has been crowned our Mad Hatter Champion! See the pictures here.

We have so much fun connecting with our team through competitions and challenges; so much so that we're already brainstorming what to do next.
