SwanCare Australind Rise residents, along with family and friends, hosted their Biggest Morning Tea to raise funds for Cancer Council.

This lovely event, hosted by our retirement living residents – Colleen, Denise, Judy and Rhonda, along with their amazing team of helpers, including Kerry L., who served as the MC – turned out to be a tremendous success, welcoming 75 guests who relished the morning tea atmosphere.

The talented craft group created handmade paper daffodils for the table centrepieces, and there were many raffle prizes and auction items available, fresh flowers and produce, alongside a delightful selection of delicious treats for everyone’s enjoyment.

The generous contributions have been gathered and tallied, and we’re excited to announce that the Australind Rise Biggest Morning Tea raised an impressive total of $5,556 for Cancer Council Western Australia.

All proceeds from the event will be allocated to funding cancer research, support and prevention initiatives, a cause that resonates with many of us at SwanCare.

Our community has once again demonstrated that together, we can create a meaningful impact. Congratulations and a heartfelt thank you to everyone involved.
