Residential Aged Care
Each day our residents make us proud of all their achievements, and today in honour of National Senior Citizens Day, we're sharing their fantastic efforts at this year's Aged Care Games!
Earlier this month our residential aged care centres put their weeks of practice, art and craft creations and colourful outfits to use for the occasion.
Seniors across Perth gathered to compete in a number of team games including seated hockey, pass ball, skittles and bean bag toss for a chance to come out on top.
Representing SwanCare were the Waminda Warriors, Kings of Kingia, Tandara Tigers and the Ningana Knights, whose green glory landed them the top prize for ‘Best Presented Team.’
“Our residents had a great day and really enjoyed the competition, they all did an amazing job,” said Claudia Becerra, Ningana’s Social Engagement Team Leader.
We are extremely proud of our residents and staff for their dedication and strong team spirit at our first Aged Care Games. Congratulations to all who participated.
