22nd November 2024 | One additional positive COVID-19 result detected at SwanCare Ningana Level 1 as we head into the weekend.

As we head into the weekend, we need to advise that our latest round of testing has unfortunately confirmed one additional positive COVID-19 result at SwanCare Ningana on Level 1. This resident’s family has been notified and they are being well taken care of in their room while they recover.
We are doing all we can to minimise risk of further infection, therefore we will continue to restrict visitations and movement across Level 1 until further notice. Exemptions can be made for end of life and partners in care; however, all approved visitors must wear an N95 mask and complete a RAT prior to entry. Arrangements for telephonic and video communications can be made by contacting SwanCare Ningana during reception hours.
Visitations can continue on the Ground Floor, Levels 2 and 3 with all visitors requested to wear a surgical mask while on the premises and ensure they respect all infection control protocols, including completing a RAT upon arrival.

- Wear a properly fitted N95 mask on level 1 and surgical mask on all other floors.
- Complete health screening and sign in using visitor kiosk upon arrival.
- Current influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations prior to entry is encouraged.
- Respect all infection prevention and control (IPC) measures in place.
- Refrain from visiting if unwell or if you are a close contact of a COVID-19 case.
- If COVID-19 positive, refrain from visiting for at least 7 days and until symptom free.
- Visitors are limited to two people at a time, from 9am – 7pm daily.
