Complex Care Nursing
SwanCare is well equipped to provide complex clinical care, providing highly trained aged care specialists, all-hours registered nurses, and generous staff to resident ratios. Equipped to cater to a range of care needs, we are ready to care for your loved one in a supportive environment.
Our four residential aged care centres operate in a sub-acute capacity, accepting residents with unique and intricate care needs. We can support individual care and rehabilitation plans, and are open to assisting individuals with a wide range of health conditions as we actively pursue staff specialist training based on resident’s needs.
Complex Care Nursing procedures and services include:
- Tracheotomy care
- Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG)
- Naso Gastric Tube (NGT) feeding
- Stoma Therapy
- Post-Colostomy care
- Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and other Neurological conditions
- Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) Machine
- Mental Health Care requirements
- Physiotherapy
In addition, SwanCare offers wheelchair-friendly facilities, hoist facilities, and two-person assist lifts. For those in younger demographics, we offer the opportunity to be a transitional facility for persons waiting on a position in a group home.
