Notice of temporary lift access restrictions from Tuesday 5th March.

Refurbishment Project Update

Please be advised that there will be works occurring next week starting Tuesday 5th March, after the public holiday on Monday.

In order to progress the flooring on the ground floor, we have to complete the process of screeding. It's quite a process which will take four days and will make these areas inaccessible throughout the duration.

As a result, the two lifts at the front of the building will not be accessible from Tuesday 5th March until Friday 8th March inclusive, unless there is an emergency. The back lift, near the temporary reception, will be operational but will not cope with all residents coming down for meals.

Therefore, we have decided that full tray service to residents in their rooms will be the least confusing for our residents and will allow staff to best manage food service and movements.

We have also arranged for our Social Engagement Team to take social activities to each floor where they can engage with residents within small groups in vacant rooms.

Rest assured, you can still visit upstairs, however demand on the lift may increase your wait time. The good news is that we are not locked down and there are no viral infections, just merely inconvenienced by necessary works for a short period.

As with everything else so far, we will get through this disruption and inconvenience. Thank you for your ongoing support and patience.
