The REED Collective and Communicare delivered beautiful bouquets to the residents of SwanCare Kingia, sparking smiles and even a few tears of happiness. An action that truly brightened our residents’ day!

The REED Collective launched The Bloom Well Project nine months ago, an initiative that believes in the power of kindness and community. In floristry workshops, women from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds learn new skills through hands-on experience in flower arranging. Aimed at empowering women by building their confidence, creativity and providing a sense of purpose through repurposing unused flowers into stunning posies which are then gifted to residents in aged care facilities.

Thanks to the generous donations from Jesson Flowers and Floraco, more than 30kg of unsold blooms were transformed by a group of 15 talented women into heartfelt gifts, each paired with a handwritten note. The result? A beautiful moment of connection across generations.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this day so special. Your kindness is blooming everywhere!
